The Maintenance Club – Terms of Service
The Maintenance Club, henceforth referred to as TMC in this document, is an internet based software application offering a simple publicly available preventive maintenance system.
Neither TMC, nor its owners, can be held responsible for the misuse of this software including but not limited to the sending of excess or unwanted emails.
Neither TMC, nor its owners, can be held liable for any damage occurring to any equipment that a user intends to manage, or has managed, the maintenance of through TMC for any reason including but not limited to: email system failures, user computer problems, TMC web hosting problems, or errors made in good faith during the creation of TMC.
Basically we’re trying to help but if your equipment breaks due to any reason including a system failure or errors in The Maintenance Club, it’s still your equipment and you are still responsible for its maintenance and upkeep.
TMC reserves the right to deny service to any individual or group for any reason.
TMC reserves the right to de-activate any user’s account for any reason.
It is extremely unlikely that TMC will refuse or cancel service to anyone for any reason other than abuse. If you are sending excessive or unwanted emails through our system, or abusing it in some other way that affects the legitimacy of TMC or adversely affects others we will shut you down. However, in the event that TMC becomes financially un-viable we would then have to shut down and discontinue service. If that occurs TMC will strive to inform its users beforehand and make an effort to send all users their maintenance history in a format to be determined at that time.
TMC is an equal opportunity preventive maintenance system and will not make any judgments or usage decisions based on race, color, creed, nationality, sexual orientation, marital status, education, employment situation, health condition, age, military status, veteran status, ancestry, familial situation, nor even if you are using our system to maintain a hoopty beater.
TMC reserves the right to change these terms of service and will notify users via email.
TMC reserves the right to change, add, update, or delete features as it sees fit. TMC will notify users of these changes if it seems prudent or helpful to its users.
